The CWSC Biathlon Series is returning bigger and better than ever! They are a great way to experience the sport of biathlon and to test your skiing and shooting skills in a fun and inclusive environment!
AGES: 8 and up
COST PER EVENT
- Ages 19 and up: $20 (PreRegistered)
- Ages 8-18: $15 (PreRegistered)
- CWSC Members receive a $5 discount per event
- Additional $5 if registering day of race!
RACE CATEGORIES:
- 3x500m – Start time: 1:00pm
- 3x900m – Start time: 1:10pm
- 3x2km – Start time: 1:30pm
CHECK IN: 11:30-12:30 at the biathlon technical building
RIFLE SAFETY: 12:30-1:00 at the biathlon range
GENERAL INFO
- No previous skiing, biathlon or firearms experience is required
- Rifle safety and target shooting instruction provided
- Opportunity to practice before the event
- Three skiing loops and two shooting bouts (participants will shoot in the prone (lying down) position for both shooting bouts)
- Participants do not carry the biathlon rifles; the rifles remain on the range
- Biathlon rifles, ammunition and shooting rests are all provided
- Trail pass and ski equipment are NOT included
